Bust of Ioan Cotovu
Very good general condition. It is well maintained and is one of the landmarks of the city of Hârșova.

Ioan Cotovu (1835-1897) was the first school principal in Hârșova, after the Unification of Dobrogea and Romania (1878) he founded the first library of the city and one of the largest history and archaeology museums in the province. The bust was built in 1936 in the presence of the minister of Agriculture, Vasile Sassu. It has a stone pedestal and an emplacement made out of the same material. The bust itself is made out of bronze.
