House, Fântâniței Street no. 9, Murfatlar

Good general condition. The facade towards the street has been rehabilitated, with unfortunate interventions to the windows, but the condition of the other facades is not good, one of the lateral ones being bonded to a household annex. It’s not used to it’s real value.

  • Built in the last years of the 19th century. Unknown architect
  • Fântâniței Street, no. 9

House built and inhabited by a local, wealthy trader, having a ground floor and made in a neoclassical architectonic style, simple, with decorations surrounding the facade on the upper side. Subsequent rehabilitations didn’t preserve the window frames and a part of the architectural distinctiveness was lost. Unlike the neighbor, Stamatopoulos house, the immobile can’t be entered from the street side.
