House, Fântâniței Street no. 3, Murfatlar

Deplorable general condition. It hasn’t been rehabilitated, the roof appears shaky, the repeated interventions upon the facades eliminated all the decorations. At risk of falling apart.
  • Historic and architectural monument category B; code LMI CT-II-m-B-02867
  • Built in the first decade of the 20th century. Unknown architect.
  • Fântâniței Street, no. 3, Murfatlar

House of a local trader, similar to the other ones on the same street (at addresses 9 and 9A). The entrance to the immobile, facing the street, separates the two symmetrical sides of the house, each with two pairs of windows. Above the entrance is a massive Art Nouveau decoration, which implies that the respective style is dominant in the house’s architecture. Other exterior decorations haven’t been preserved. The immobile is similar to that of Stamatopoulos, on the same street (address 9A/11) but having been built approximately a decade later, the architectonic style is different.
