Saint Nicolae Church, Nistorești

The church is a modest sized building, built at the end of the 19th century through the contribution and work of the 44 Christian families who were living in the village. It was blessed on the 26th of november 1898. Initially made out of wood, the roof is now made out of blackboard. The stone and adobe walls are not painted, the same way there are no paintings on the inside. The low, wooden ceiling is divided by a stone vault that divides the inside of the church in a simple manner.
