The Palace of Justice (currently the Court of Constanța)
- Historic monument category A, code LMI CT-II-m-A-02858
- Built in 1908. Architect: Daniel Renard
- Constanța, Traian Street no. 33
The building of the Palace of Justice is part of the three building ensemble (together with the Administrative Palace/Prefecture, and the Royal Palace), designed together at the beginning of the 20th century in the area of a public square, in the immediate vicinity of the train station.
The Palace of Justice is an immobile with a basement, tall ground floor, an upper floor and an arctic, in an eclectic style, with classical elements but also some of the Art Nouveau architecture. Distinctive for the latter current are the side windows of the building, the main entrance and the hardware decorative elements in the attic.
The immobile was used for the purpose it was built for, since 2007 being the office of the Court of Constanța after, previously, for nearly a century, hosting different courts and offices for legal institutions.
