Historic monument of local interest, the statue ended up in a bizarre position, from a public forum work it ended up sitting in the terrace of a restaurant associated with a hotel in the Mamaia resort.

Other works of Medrea can be found in Constanța, such as the Child with a Frog Statue, next to the entrance of the Art Museum of the city, the Fishermen Statuary, also made of stone, on the Casino Seafront. In Mamaia, the chalk statue GIrl at Sea can also be found, placed down on a green area in proximity to Central Hotel. Around ten statues made by Medrea were commissioned and placed down by the communist authorities, in the 60’s, in Mamaia.
